Counterpoint Recital Show Tickets

RECITAL Tickets 2010

The year-end recital is almost upon us, and I just wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with some preliminary information in obtaining tickets for the show in an effort to avoid disappointment. The recital is such a wonderful celebration of the dancers hard work, the chance to see the progress of your young one, and to witness their total enjoyment of dance.

We have two shows this year:

Wednesday June 2nd 2010 at 6:30 p.m.
at the University of Calgary Theater.

This recital is ONLY for all Princess Make-Believe classes, Ballet A /Pre Jazz Saturday 10:05 a.m. class and the following Performing Group dances: Dance With Me, TEAM, Hip Haunting, Little Green Bag, Gold Mist, Stay, Black Pearl, The Garden, I Gotcha, Allure. *these PG dances may also perform on June 5th, tba.

Saturday June 5th 2010 at 4:00 p.m.
at the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts in the Jack Singer Concert Hall.

This recital is for ALL Counterpoint dancers (excluding Princess Make-Believe and Ballet A Saturday 10:05 a..m. class)

June 2nd tickets will be sold through Counterpoint, we have done this in an effort to save you the U of C service charge. Additionally, we have offered family packages and pricing which we hope you will take advantage of. Please fill out the order form below and bring it into the studio office by May 1st. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. Tickets will be ready for you to pickup in the studio lobby on photo day, May 8th. Please be aware that ticket orders may not be placed through the studio after May 1st so if there are any tickets remaining after May 1st they will be sold at the theater one hour prior to the June 2nd show.

June 5th tickets Seating is reserved, and tickets will only be sold through Epcor Centers Ticket outlet which can be accessed online beginning at 10:00 a.m. on May 15th 2010. Typically the recital is a sell-out each year and once the quota is sold there are no extra tickets left over, so please don't wait until the last minute to place your ticket order as this may result in disappointment.

You may purchase your ticket on line at http://tickets.epcorcentre.org We strongly recommend that you take advantage of the option of having the tickets mailed to you or picking the tickets up prior to June 5th. Tickets may also be purchased by phoning the Epcor center box office at: 403-294-9494.

The cost of a single ticket is $15.99 (plus GST). There will also be an Epcor ticket surcharge which is a Jack Singer requirement and is completely unavoidable. I would like to let everyone know that the cost of a ticket covers the rental cost of the theater and associated expenses. The studio believes strongly that this night is all about the dancers! Every audience member is required to purchase a ticket. Fire regulations do not allow young dancers to sit on parents laps.
